SXSW Coverage: Condor Interviews

One of the shows I was most excited for at SXSW was Condor and as such I was excited to be able to schedule some interviews with the team behind it. I got to interview it’s stars Max Irons, and Leem Lubany, as well as the show’s creators Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg. These interviews were in the afternoon before the show’s premier at SouthBy so I was going into it as an interested fan of the original film Three Days of the Condor and a hopeful fan of the show Condor. My review of Condor is already posted for your pleasure, and spoiler alert I liked it, but please check it out too. But you’ll definitely want to check out these interviews after the jump!

Now, just as a slight word of warning, there is a lot of background noise in these recordings. Its not so much that you can’t hear or enjoy the interviews, but I’d be remiss to not mention it. At the time there were two other journalists interviewing another part of the creative team at the same time in a medium sized room and as such there is some unavoidable cross talk. I did some work to minimize the background noise for you, but its still there.

And last, but certainly not least are the show’s creators Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg:

About Ben

Ben Glasthal is a film student who loves to write and edit videos as well as stories and blogs. Ben was born in Boston, MA and lived on the South Shore of Massachusetts for 10 years before moving to Dallas, TX. While living in Dallas, TX, Ben found a passion for video production from courses and high school and decided to study it in college as well. After 3 years, on and off, at the University of North Texas, Ben relocated to Austin, TX to finish his degree at ACC and to look for production work. Ben is kind of a massive nerd and when he’s not watching movies or TV he’s reading comics or playing video games on his PC or Xbox.
