Premier Trailer for Blood Fest

If you remember a couple years back at Fantastic Fest we got to cover the premier of Rooster Teeth’s first feature film, Lazer Team. In the time since the sequel to that has come out, and now their releasing their next one: Blood Fest. Not only are they releasing it, but they’re releasing it at SXSW which I will be covering once again. If horror comedy is your thing then you’ll definitely want to follow us after the jump here to see the first trailer and learn more about the film!

Rooster Teeth has collected some new talent, as well as some bigger names you will likely know, and it has us very excited. Directed by Owen Egerton (Follow) and starring Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time), Seychelle Gabriel (Falling Skies, The Legend of Korra), Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: Homeocoming), Barbara Dunkelman (Day 5), Tate Donovan (The Man in the High Castle), Nick Rutherford (Crunch Time) , and Zachary Levi (Chuck). Here’s the plot synopsis:

Fans flock to a festival celebrating the most iconic horror movies, only to discover that the charismatic showman behind the event has a diabolical agenda. As attendees start dying off, three teenagers with more horror-film wits than real-world knowledge must band together and battle through every madman, monstrosity and terrifying scenario if they have any hope of surviving.

Quite frankly we’re excited as both horror comedy fans, and as Rooster Teeth Fans. Check out the trailer and let us know in the comments what you think!
