How To Follow Us At Fantastic Fest

Hey everyone, so after all the hype and preparation today is finally the first day of Fantastic Fest 11 *Kermit Flail*! I’ll be posting my reviews periodically throughout the week but I’ll also be all up in social media too between movies. As such I wanted to let everyone know where and how to follow myself and the site during Fantastic Fest!

Fantastic Fest 2015 Final Wave

Its finally here everyone, the Final Wave! Fantastic Fest is just 2 weeks away and we now know every film showing at the festival! There’s some real greatness here with this being even more of an art film based wave, in my opinion, but that is what we were missing a bit more of. World Premier of Lazer Team at Fantastic Fest

As mentioned in the Fantastic Fest Second Wave post earlier, the film Lazer Team made by Rooster Teeth is set to have its world premier at the festival this year. Its incredibly exciting for me as a big fan of Rooster Teeth and someone who’s been following the movie to be able to be there to cover the premier. To coincide with that we’ve gotten more on this film and its premier that we are passing on to you guys now.

Fantastic Fest 2015 First Wave

Hey guys, we’re a little late on this post (thank Windows 10 issues with my work computer) but I’m beyond happy and excited to share the First Wave of films for this year’s Fantastic Fest! Felt Being Released on VOD

You may remember our review of Felt, the gender based psychological thriller, from earlier in this month, and we are happy to now be able to inform you it is getting released on VOD. Its a movie with a great thriller energy and some wonderful performances and while it is one that, if from my review sounds up your alley, you shouldn’t miss. It will launch on VOD on July 21st on all the usual sources you go to for your VOD needs.

Felt Gets National Release Date and Teaser Poster

Felt showed at Fantastic Fest last year, and I regrettably missed it, but it was one of the films that were talked about non-stop during the festival. The film by director Jason Banker is an interesting look into the effects of sexual trauma through the lens of revenge and its psychological impact on a creative individual. As the evocative teaser poster will tell you, its a bit odd and beautiful and you can follow us after the jump for more info!

This was at least rumored a while ago but we finally have some confirmation on it as Captain America: Civil War enters into production. Baron Zemo is one of Captain America’s longest running villains and one that will be interesting to see on the big screen and Brühl is a well established actor most well known in America for his role in Inglorious Bastards. Follow us after the jump for more on the story and the character!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer 2 Released

I’m gonna let Ant- Man finish but it was just dethroned as the best trailer this week but the grandaddy of summer blockbusters, Star Wars. That’s right, today was the premier of the newest trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens with a trailer featuring some of the original cast and it’s just that good! Follow us after the jump for the trailer.

Matthew Vaughn Possibly Directing Flash Gordon

I’m not a big fan of reporting on things that aren’t finished deals as they’re basically rumors, though when those rumors are about really awesome possibilities I’m a bit weak. While the site was down the fantastic Kingsmen directed by Vaughn came out and made me very happy and I’m always a fan of Flash Gordon thanks to the 1980’s film. So thankfully there’s more than just simple rumor on this but if you’d like all the details you’ll want to follow us after the jump.
